About Ian
Ian is a bafta and RTS award-winning freelance director. He is best known for directing the soaps Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and Hollyoaks.
His TV credits include progammes such as;
Homefront, Waterloo Road, Heartbeat, and Where the Heart is, just to name a selection from his extensive body of work.
About The Workshop
This is an exclusive 3hr workshop for just 14 participants.
"HOW TO BREAK DOWN A SCENE"
Each actor will be given a script before the workshop to learn and study. They will be paired with another actor and on the day, Ian will direct both actors in the scene.
In this 3hr workshop you will be taught

How to examine a scene

How to breakdown a character.

What are the important speeches and objectives within the scene
You will receive friendly feedback throughout the workshop and all scripts are provided and you will also have the chance to ask questions.
At the end of the workshop you will have learnt how to be more analytical on your approach to new script whether it be for stage or screen

• Workshops must be paid in full at the time of booking via BACS or PayPal
Cancellations
• Cancel Less than 20 days and the full amount is liable. If we can rebook your place we can refund your money.
• Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival the full amount is liable.
• If we need to cancel a full refund will be given to each participant
